Scrip is a fundraising
program in which you buy gift cards to use at your favorite shopping store instead of cash, checks or credit cards.
Gift cards are available from over 300 national and local companies.
GFWC/Iowa sells the cards at face value and purchases them at a discounted cost.
Scrip discounts range form 2% to 25%. As a general rule,
however about 5% of your purchases will be returned as revenue to GFWC/Iowa.
What is great about this program is that it doesn’t cost you anything but it benefits GFWC/Iowa.
This is how it works.
(1)
Decide what gift cards you want to buy.
(2) Make a check out to GFWC/Iowa Scrip for the cost of the cards and
send the check to the GFWC/Iowa office.

Cards recently purchased are: JCPenney, Sears, Younkers, Home Depot, Menard’s, Kohl’s, Wal-Mart or Sam’s,
Lowe’s, Applebee’s, Old Navy, CVS Pharmacy and Walgreen’s.
