FRIEND Program

FRIEND is a volunteer reading program designed to impact literacy in Iowa and build on our GFWC/Iowa’s strong support of Education. The program offers two volunteer options:

1. You may read to students in your local school classrooms.

2. You may tutor adults through your Area Community College.

Rules:

If your school requires a letter of introduction explaining the program, contact GFWC/Iowa Headquarters.

Special recognition is given to all FRIEND members at their district conventions.
